Fans have been clamoring for a Metroid Prime 4 Nintendo Direct for months, pointing out that even though many people have given up, the opportunity is still there. He said that Nintendo doesn’t usually plan game-specific Directs so close to when the games are released, but this week might be an exception.

“It might still happen”. A report said, implying that fans can still expect a thorough look at the future game even if the event isn’t officially known as a Direct. Nintendo has kept Metroid Prime 4 Beyond a secret, which has led to a lot of different ideas about why the game has been kept secret. Nintendo games like Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, and Kirby Air Riders have all had special Directs, but Metroid Prime 4 hasn’t yet.

Metroid Prime 4 is the odd one out, and Nintendo has a lot to share.

This makes it the most anticipated game of the year. Some people say that partner projects like Pokémon and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment haven’t gotten Nintendo Directs, but new reports say that this is because these games are made by outside companies and have their own marketing teams.

Metroid Prime 4, on the other hand, is one of Nintendo’s biggest projects, and it’s been in the works for years with help from famous people. The budget and scope of the game make it seem likely that Nintendo will finally give it a lot of attention.

Recent marketing efforts, including the release of an amiibo and artbooks, along with a trailer that many consider the best in the series’ history, all point to a planned buildup to a bigger surprise. Nintendo’s September Direct discussed a “journey to launch,” and the company’s most recent marketing efforts indicate that its plan is now coming together.

The review embargoes, set to start on Friday, have also contributed to the rumors. Since most previews are released on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, the fact that this one came out late in the week suggests that Nintendo might have a major announcement earlier in the week. Nintendo might hold a Direct or a longer presentation with a different name before the preview ban ends.

A presentation before Friday makes the most logical sense.

Nintendo’s game-specific instructions typically appear 4–6 weeks before a game’s release. With Metroid Prime 4 coming out in less than four weeks, a preview early in the week would be a little out of the ordinary, but not unheard of. Nintendo is working on a lot of different projects at the moment, such as Mario Galaxy, Pokémon Legends ZA, and Kirby Air Riders.

Metroid Prime 4 is shaping up to be Nintendo’s holiday crown jewel.

A lot of the marketing for these games overlaps. It’s not ideal, but a late-year reveal might be even more powerful. Nintendo is getting ready for a huge holiday season. The Switch 2 is said to have sold 12 million units, breaking records as the fastest-selling device.

Metroid Prime 4 might be the last big game the company releases this year, and a Direct could get a lot of attention before it comes out. According to a new report, the presentation will likely talk about the background of the Metroid Prime trilogy and Samus’s adventures.

The Direct could also explain how the game works to people who have never played it before and give regular fans more information. You don’t have to know anything about the previous games to play this one, but it offers a story that is more interesting and complex than you might think. Possible remasters of Metroid Prime 2 and 3 may also be talked about, though we think Nintendo might go for big changes instead of simple remakes.

The Direct will likely open and close with epic trailers.

It is speculated that Nintendo’s show will start and end with exciting new trailers, like how Nintendo did with Donkey Kong Bananza. Fans can look forward to a deep dive into Samus’s move set, which will include her psychic powers, different beam weapons, and more arm cannon choices. It’s also likely that the roles of the scan visor, improved defenses, and how enemies act will be emphasized, giving players a sense of strategy and progress in the game’s environments.

Recent magazine scans give hints that there may be old ruins and complicated desert areas, which could make exploring more difficult. Some fans have called the game “open world,” but it is possible that Metroid Prime 4 will feature large interconnected areas that progress in the traditional Metroid manner, with blocked paths requiring power-ups, backtracking, and puzzle-solving.

Backtracking will remain, but portals may streamline gameplay.

Backtracking can be annoying, but portals and Samus’s moving skills may make it easier to explore faster and more interestingly. The presentation should show off the game world’s size and beauty while also focusing on the adventure and discovery parts that make the series what it is. Nintendo will have to sell the game’s depth, visual spectacle, and exploration features to both experienced gamers and people who have never played it before.

Meeting the boss is another expected highlight. New reports indicate that there will be at least one new boss, possibly based on Ridley or Craig. This new boss would likely have epic, movie-like fights, which are what the franchise is known for. Other gameplay hooks, like time travel features, may be hinted at but mostly kept secret to keep players guessing.

Metroid Prime 4 could deliver the most exciting Direct of the year.

Overall, we are all looking forward to a short yet exciting show that will captivate viewers and prepare them for the game’s launch. Nintendo has a chance to make Metroid Prime 4 a must-play holiday game by showing trailers, gaming tips, enemy examples, and world-building information. Fans of Samus and the Metroid series may finally get the news they’ve been waiting for this week.
