Microsoft And Activision Blizzard Have Created History

Today is probably some of the best news for Xbox owners everywhere. Microsoft has officially bought Activision Blizzard for approximately $70 billion. This is huge. Especially if you’re an Xbox gamer. Does that mean that Activision games will now be Xbox exclusives?

As of now, there are only speculations, but it seems very likely. Think of all the games that Xbox gamers will enjoy. Call of Duty, Diablo, Tony Hawk Pro Skater, Crash Bandicoot, Sekiro, and so much more. This has most definitely a massive loss for PlayStation gamers.

As we extend the joy and community of gaming to everyone, we are incredibly excited to welcome the fantastic teams and iconic franchises of Activision Blizzard to Team Xbox https://t.co/DVrgYS8ssB

— Phil Spencer (@XboxP3) January 18, 2022

Phil Spencer, who’s Head of Xbox, did not waste time in announcing this on his official Twitter account about the big news. He wrote, “As we extend the joy and community of gaming to everyone, we are incredibly excited to welcome the fantastic teams and iconic franchises of Activision Blizzard to Team Xbox”. This is major news for the Xbox community, and it is one for the history books. We cannot wait to see what’s in store for the future.
