There exists a special mist somewhere in an unknown land. Emily, a girl with little to no memory, is the Mistcaller. Aware of only the fact that her brother was kidnapped, the mist must be utilized to find out why. Solving this mystery won’t be the only thing that she is confronted with. From the minds of Onyx Game Studio comes a Gothic 2D adventure about getting one’s past back.
Emily is not without help, for a disembodied voice accompanies her on her adventure. Slowly but surely, the young girl will unravel the past and reveal who she really is. In addition to overcoming the burden of amnesia, dangerous obstacles stand between Emily and her memories. The voice will also lend its ‘thinking power’ to helping solve mentally taxing puzzles.
What do these two families have to do with the overall mystery? And, when the Mistcaller has more of her memories? How does Emily’s past connect to the two feuding families? Will finding all the answers be worth it? Or was being an amnesiac the better option this whole time? Only by gathering clues and progressing through a dark world can those answers be attained.
