Amazon may have accidentally leaked what looks to be the multiplayer beta of Modern Warfare 2.
Modern Warfare 2 has been the talk of the town for the last few weeks. Just last week, we got the gameplay trailer, and then the following day at the Summer Game Fest, we witnessed the actual gameplay footage on a campaign mission, and it amazed us. Plus, this is the alpha stage, so it makes us even more excited for the finished version.
But we are waiting for multiplayer gameplay, and it seems that we don’t have to wait long. According to YouTube’s eColiEspresso, Amazon may have accidentally published what seems to be gameplay footage of the beta. He explains more about this in his latest video. He said “We’ve seen a lot so far for Modern Warfare 2 since the reveal. While there’s still plenty more to discuss, in the last 24 hours or so, we’ve gotten a pretty strange “leak” per se, possibly accidentally published by Amazon that gives us a first-hand glimpse into when we can expect to see the Multiplayer Beta coming for Modern Warfare 2.”
This is quite something. We’d wonder what Amazon has to say about this. Getting the beta footage this early is shocking. As usual, if you were to pre-order a Call of Duty game, you would get early access to the beta, and it’s still the case for Modern Warfare 2. We are still waiting for when we can play the beta. Anyway, this situation brings a lot of curiosity about what will happen next.
