The iconic original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox Game Pass is a possibility.
Modern Warfare 2 is still considered one of the greatest Call of Duty titles of all time. So much so that Call of Duty had decided to remake it with MWII to recapture the magic. However, when looking back at it now, it hasn’t come close to doing so. But, what if we could recapture it with the og version? But this time, on the Xbox and possibly a PC remaster? It’s said that Modern Warfare 2 could be in service.
If you’re wondering where we got this idea that it’s coming to Game Pass. If you look at the Game Pass poster ad, all the games featured on the poster are available on Game Pass. But if you look at the top right side, you’ll see the og Modern Warfare 2’s cover. This practically tells us that we should expect the game to arrive there at some point.
Modern Warfare 2 would be something, but something screams that this is just the remastered campaign version that was released a few years ago, which isn’t what most players want. Given that Call of Duty games are now available on Game Pass, and most recently, 2017’s WWII arrived on the service not too long ago, this wouldn’t be a surprise.
However, even though it’s all but confirmed, the question is when it’s coming. We obviously shouldn’t expect it to arrive this week, given that the upcoming Black Ops 7 will also be available on Xbox and PC Game Pass.
And speaking of Black Ops 7, we’re only a few days away from being able to get our hands on the game. Exciting times ahead. Additionally, we will have to wait and see if Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox Game Pass is indeed true. However, it appears likely to be true for the reason mentioned earlier.
