It’s not unknown now that The Last of Us Part II voice actress Laura Bailey has faced death threats on social platforms. Naughty Dog responded to this and issued a statement, too. The issue has gone from sharp critiques of The Last of Us 2’s characters, plot, and ongoing interaction to death dangers. Naughty Dog uploaded a statement on Twitter, welcoming constructive criticism but also discouraging disgraceful acts of toxic members of the community.

Laura Bailey herself revealed some death threats for her role in The Last of Us Part II. Some death threats were like this: I will kill you. Just wait for that. But she appreciated all the positive feedback she got too in her tweet.
