Nine upcoming games and major DLC updates bring horror, RPG adventures, cozy exploration, and chaotic sandbox gameplay to gaming fans.
New releases, expansions, remasters, and surprising independent projects are filling up the gaming calendar. Whether it’s atmospheric action adventures, survival horror, intimate multiplayer experiences, or anarchic sandbox games, this week’s nine significant announcements and release date updates have it all.
The atmospheric action-adventure can now reach a wider audience, but delays have become increasingly common during busy release periods. What sets Rogue Factor’s game apart is that it purposely doesn’t contain many of the features that have become standard in games nowadays.
There is no normal mini-map, compass, or giant mission marker to help you find your next objective. But exploring is about noticing the environment, talking to people, and finding out where to go next without constant monitoring. It is an adventure that follows a sword, a drone buddy, and other supernatural beings on a fascinating planet.
One of the biggest changes is that Hell Is Us has delayed its debut date. The developers are also connecting the new release date to a major Year 1 content update. The extra time should give the team a chance to improve the experience while taking the attention off an already busy release time frame.
Hell Is Us prefers exploration and discovery to endless handholding.
Survival horror games Remothered: Tormented Fathers and Remothered: Broken Porcelain are getting complete remasters from Stormwind Games. The games are being remade in Unreal Engine 5, with major graphical improvements to both terror experiences already released.

The remasters will have improved lighting, such as dynamic global illumination using Lumen, better quality environments, and updated character models. The goal is to update the presentation yet retain the gameplay and atmospheric tension that made the original releases so special.
Technical faults from prior versions are also being addressed, with the remasters aiming to provide a more polished experience without affecting the core hide-and-seek survival gameplay. Longtime fans have another reason to jump back into the series, as everyone who already owns this game will be offered a free upgrade if claimed in the first week of release.
Grave Seasons has announced something else that is really different. It is a peaceful farming simulator, with a murder mystery and cosmic horror. Perfect Garbage produced the game, and Blumhouse Games published it, and it will be released on March 9, 2027.
Grave Seasons turns bucolic farmland into a chilling murder mystery.
Grave Seasons looks like your average life simulation at first glance. You can plant and fish and sell your crops, and you can talk to the villagers and make friends. But lurking beneath the surface of this seemingly peaceful suburb lies a much darker secret: a supernatural serial killer stalking people in the community.
This turns everyday tasks into bits of a larger inquiry. You’ll scour murder scenes, break into houses, safeguard probable victims, and make friends with the locals to find the truth. The devs have also said romance is a possibility, including the bizarre prospect of falling romantically involved with the killer.
Meanwhile, Moadra is delivering a fast-paced Metroidvania adventure in a unique world on October 22. Gloomoft's game is set on Proteia 6, a desolate planet where an ancient civilization disappeared over 20,000 years ago. Moadra mixes fast-moving alien exploration and biological weapons developments.
Moadra is focused on mobility, letting you explore dangerous locations and fight giant alien animals by jumping between walls, running at great speeds, and avoiding attacks with quick dodges. A scanner bot can help you find secret pathways, learn about species, and find areas that you might otherwise not be able to find.
Combat also directly helps to progress. Protoplasm, an alien luminous biomass, is created from defeated enemies and can be shipped to organic development chambers. It is used to trigger biological changes to the character's armor and weaponry, making these more powerful tools over time.

Queen's Domain gives the old dungeon crawling a new life with fresh exploration opportunities.
Fans of classic dungeon crawls get another fresh experience in Queen's Domain. The first-person action RPG from Freshly Baked Games will be out October 30. It is clearly inspired by classic dungeon-crawling adventures but adds its own traversal and growth mechanics.
Wash ashore on an unknown island in search of your absent father and set out on a journey. A famous holy sword turns into a necessary exploration tool, letting you launch yourself across great distances. Combat is about stamina management, charge strikes, and over 20 types of secondary weapons that can be thrown.
The game contains over 50 melee weapons, over 100 different enemies, and many bosses, spread throughout interconnected labyrinthine dungeons. Progression also gives an unexpected way to raise stats; eating meals can increase your character's attributes.
Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is a roguelite game that will be expanded on October 7. The top-down single-player shooter brings the mining and bug-slaying idea of Deep Rock Galactic to deliver a fast-paced survivor experience.
You’ll be sending waves of hostile aliens to their doom, mining through rock, upgrading weapons, and delving into hazardous alien caves in a bid to survive even more unpredictable experiences. There's also a glimpse of the forthcoming Knockout expansion, which promises a new brawler class, the Sandblasted Corridors biome, high-risk goals, and challenging boss encounters.

Humblets is a relaxing multiplayer adventure where exploring is the center instead of fighting for survival, so it’s sure to be a completely different experience. Barry Bite and Hyper Train Digital developed the game, which lets up to four players explore procedurally generated worlds full of stunning sceneries and friendly creatures.
Obstacles are handled with a card-based strategy instead of traditional battle. You can collect and upgrade cards, customize your character with distinct qualities and clothing, and travel with a pet companion who supports you in gathering resources and picking objects up.
You can even pitch a tent wherever you want, decorate it with handcrafted furniture, and connect your campgrounds with friends. The developers recently kicked off a crowdfunding campaign that was well above its funding target, demonstrating significant interest in the game’s chilled-out take on multiplayer exploration.

Horror is back in the fold with Little Nightmares III and the upcoming DLC, The Shores. Developed by Supermassive Games and published by Bandai Namco, the addition is part of the Secrets of the Spiral expansion pass and sends Low and Alone into yet another unsettling environment. The characters walk through a strange mirror and are on a foggy beach, rotten and drowned.
Water has flooded empty homes and streets, and there are more risks from venomous leeches and a huge beast called the Leech Monster. Getting to safety means navigating flooded sewers, dangerous machinery, submerged rooms, and environmental risks. The expansion builds on the series’ tendency to twist familiar settings and childhood memories into disquieting horror encounters.
The Shores turns Little Nightmares III into a terrifying, flooded nightmare.
And last, Goat Simulator 3 is getting its third big expansion, Ticket to Dizzyworld, on November 19. Coffee Stain North brings the anarchic goat of the game to a sprawling carnival setting with rides, mini-games, trinkets, and all manner of destructive potential.
The add-on allows you to ride attractions as a goat, make ridiculous accidents in bumper cars, get new gear, and even build unique roller coaster rides. The sandbox is based on the same physics-based chaos that has made the franchise such a hit, allowing plenty of possibilities to turn a peaceful amusement park into anarchy.
Ticket to Dizzyworld is a fun expansion of Goat Simulator 3’s intentionally silly spin on open-world gaming, whether you’re playing solo or with others. Whether you’re into ambient adventures, survival horror, cozy exploration, or anarchic humor, the next several months provide something for a lot of different kinds of players, with these nine announcements.
