Nintendo’s Next SNES Switch Online Games Include ‘Claymates’ And ‘Jelly Boy’

Things are looking up for Switch Online games.

So, where are all the excellent SNES games for Nintendo’s Switch Online service? Oh, where are those that? I’m curious after seeing the company’s next round of titles, Claymates, Jelly Boy, and Bombuzal.

While Nintendo must have done an excellent job of converting some of the most popular first-party titles to Switch Online’s SNES library, classics like Mario RPG and Earthbound are yet to debut. There are no apologies for Interplay’s Clay series (which includes the considerably more memorable Clayfighter), but they aren’t games I’m particularly excited about playing.

However, there is some utility in exposing newer generations to the types of games that ’90s kids would then have to endure. While Jelly Boy is not a big name, it will be sold for the first time outside of Europe, making it an intriguing oddity for vintage players.

On July 28th, Claymates Jelly Boy and Bombuzal are expected to arrive.
