Observer System Redux Is A Confirmed Launch Title For Xbox Series X/S And PS5

Bloober Team’s “dark cyberpunk thriller” is launching alongside next-gen consoles.

Observer System Redux, the improved next-gen form of Layers of Fear developer Bloober Team’s dreamlike science fiction loathsomeness, has now been affirmed as a dispatch title for both forthcoming next-gen consoles, which means a tenth November discharge on Xbox Series X/S (and PC) and a twelfth November dispatch on PlayStation 5.

Observer, in case you’re new to 2017 unique, recounts the narrative of Observer analyst Daniel Lazarski (voiced by the late Rutger Hauer) as he researches a broken down Kraków loft block looking for his offended child.

What follows is a convincing mix of tragic examination experience and confounding, outwardly capturing illusory bad dreams, as players dive into the brains of observers as they chase for pieces of information. Bloober’s new System Redux adaptation expands on that effectively solid center, presenting a large group of mechanical overhauls – including any semblance of beam following, HDR lighting, new 4K surfaces, totally new character models, and liveliness, in addition to embellishments, for example, a day off, and downpour – just as new story content and ongoing interaction upgrades.

On the latter front, Bloober has announced three brand-new side quests (titled Errant Signal, Her Fearful Symmetry, and It Runs in the Family), additional neural interrogations, new secrets, and, mercifully, redesigned stealth – easily one of the weakest aspects of the original game. The developer also says to expect “new game mechanics” and quality-of-life improvements.

Observer System Redux will cost £23.79/$29.99 on release (there’s no upgrade path from the original versions) when it comes to Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC in November.
