On December 8th, ‘Doom Eternal’ Hits The Nintendo Switch

Just over one week to go.

We weren’t really expecting 2016’s cherished first-individual shooter Doom to appear on the Nintendo Switch, yet turns out id Software and Panic Button understood what they were doing. The entire experience functioned admirably, no mean accomplishment given that Doom was planned considering the PS4 and Xbox One.

What’s more, presently, we have uplifting news for Switch fans who have been holding back from trying Doom Eternal out: Nintendo reported today that the Doom spin-off would hit the Switch on December 8, a little more than in seven days. id Software made it clear a year ago that Doom Eternal would go to the Switch after it hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, yet we had no clue about when, so this is a touch of shocking news for anybody searching for another Switch title this colder time of year. We haven’t played the Switch port yet, however, given how fruitful the port of 2016’s Doom was, this is presumably worth looking at on the off chance that you appreciated the previous game.

It probably won’t look very as nitty-gritty as the Xbox One or PS4 forms, yet the center experience should be unblemished, and that is certainly something worth being thankful for.
