Sega has remastered the jubilant franchise’s first three games.

Super Monkey Ball’s irresistible charm, combined with its straightforwardness, sets it up as one of Sega’s most well-known franchises. Like a slant labyrinth, the bright game required players to move the world around its plastic ball-bound primates rather than the actual characters. From its blissful first cycle as an arcade title with a banana-shaped joystick, the arrangement has produced around 19 parts, including updates and mobile ports.

However, the hole between games had developed as the establishment battled to make progress back to consoles from handhelds. A little more than a long time since its last delivery — a remaster of the Wii’s Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz — Sega is setting up a treasure trove of chimp hijinks.

The organization reported today that Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania, a remake of the franchise’s initial three titles with an HD sheen, will arrive on PC and console on October 5th. As a feature of the remaster, Sega reproduced more than 300 levels and labyrinths and 12 scaled-down games from Super Monkey Ball, Super Monkey Ball 2, and Super Monkey Ball Deluxe.

Your definitive objective remains as before: Roll, slant, and skip your way through a progression of brilliant universes as the adorable chimp AiAi and his group of charming buddies. The redo will likewise allow you to collaborate with companions in a four-player local coop mode, offer online challenges and leaderboards, and introduce new playable characters. Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania will launch on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and last-gen consoles for $40, alongside PCs via Steam for $30.

The delivery coincides with the twentieth anniversary of the arrangement, and Sega has a number of additional items intended to commemorate the achievement. It’s also offering a digital exclusive release for $50, complete with additional character and control center skins, new items, and the original soundtrack. A commemorative version highlighting a craftsmanship book and unique cover and sleeve, alongside ten restorative items, will also be available at retailers; however, Sega didn’t disclose its cost at the time of writing.

Five years separated 2014’s Super Monkey Ball Bounce from 2019’s Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz HD on PC and console. While the eventual fate of the establishment remains obscure, Sega will trust that its new pack will be sufficient to hold fans over and, possibly, even show how much hunger there is for a genuinely new experience.
