Starry Studio, the developers of Once Human, have released a significant patch that includes Custom Servers.

Upon its release in July 2024, Once Human quickly gained a devoted fan base, reaching a peak of over 230,000 concurrent players on Steam. It stands out in the survival horror genre with its eerie post-apocalyptic atmosphere, user-friendly base-building mechanics, and combination of the two. Fan requests for canine companions, which the gamers adored as devoted allies, were granted in April, among many other updates that kept things fresh.

The game’s creator, Starry Studio, has released a major patch that includes Custom Servers. As a result, gamers are able to direct every aspect of the experience. Once Human has come a long way, baby, with these personalized servers, they provide new sandbox innovations and unique survival rules. Not to mention that this is only the start.

Players have more options than ever before with Once Human’s new Custom Servers. Every little thing may be tweaked on these private, dedicated servers. The weather, day/night cycle, character characteristics, experience gain, resource respawn rates, and even the difficulty of building things can be changed. Whether you’re trying to put your squad through a rigorous survival test or reach a calm settlement, the possibilities are limitless.

Players have the option to follow the standard PvE or PvP rules, or they can create their unique game kinds. Mod support and unique scenario tools are also in the works, so imaginative players will have even more chances to shape Once Human’s universe.

Once Human Update

For improved stability and data security, it is crucial to put custom servers on separate servers from the main servers. Full administrative access to a server is granted to hosts using a dedicated server control panel. Game Master abilities, player monitoring, and setting changes are all under their purview.

Private servers allow friends to join with unique invite codes, whereas public servers welcome anybody. The in-game store is where you may purchase subscriptions. The server’s size and duration determine its pricing. Not only that, but much better things are in the works.

According to Starry Studio, the Global Annual Version 2.0 Showcase is scheduled for July 2, 2025. At this major event, we will see the updated development roadmap, get our first look at a new scenario, and learn more about Once Human: Raidzone, the highly anticipated PvP spin-off. Raidzone will be available for pre-order later in July, and registration is currently open.

Early adopters of Version 2.0 will receive exclusive in-game items such as the Graffiti T-Shirt skin, a one-of-a-kind 2.0 avatar, Butterfly’s Emissary Crates, Starchrom currency, and more. Among the most intriguing survival games available right now, Once Human is proving its worth with its massive community, excellent customization possibilities, and upcoming new reveal.
