The kitchen chaos “Overcooked” is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

Announced in the Summer Game Fest developer showcase, Overcooked: All You Can Eat includes a full remaster of both overcooked games, presented in 4K/60 FPS, and includes online play across the entire package, including crossplay. Overcooked: All You Can Eat is a compilation of all of Overcooked, Overcooked 2, and their associated DLC, and it’s coming to next-gen consoles later this year.

You can play the original Overcooked online with your friends and other folks for the first time. Overcooked: All You Can Eat will include a cross-play multiplayer, so it won’t matter if you have all the same console either. Those are solid updates, as Overcooked is all about co-op play, and the game that offers cross-play, the better. There will be more than 120 chef characters and more than 200 kitchens (or levels) to pick from.

With seven new levels, skins, and more chefs for every character, Overcooked veterans will have more stuff to check out as well. You can earn new achievements and trophies if you can overcome all the kitchen chaos. There will also be color-blindness options, “dyslexia-friendly text” and “a scalable user interface”.

You will be able to increase the time limit on a given stage, skip levels, and give yourself more time to fulfill orders before they time out. The development team rebuilt the first game using the Overcooked 2 engine and included overhauled visuals and faster loading time. Publisher Team17 and Ghost Town noted the bundle will also have an assist mode and more accessibility.

There’s no release date yet because Microsoft and Sony have yet to reveal exactly when gaming platforms will go on sale beyond sometime this holiday season. But they confirmed that it’s coming to Xbox Series X and PS5.
