Almost a decade later and Payday 3 is finally in the works.
It has been almost a decade. 9 years to be exact, but Payday 3 has finally been confirmed. What you have all been waiting for is finally happening, and this is ground-breaking. Payday’s official Twitter account surprised us all by announcing a confirmation that the next instalment, Payday 3, is currently in development. Out of 10, how pumped are you right now? Because we are over the moon. And the announcement could not be any better.
A simple “We’re making Payday 3” caption was enough to get many thousands of likes and retweets, and it has gotten the gaming community in a frenzy. There are no words on release date, or pre orders, or anything else on that line. But this news is too hot to handle. We probably shouldn’t expect more information anytime soon, but we are very happy that this is happening.
In the meantime, one of the subtweets suggests that you enjoy Payday 2 in the meantime. Keep you occupied until then. Especially when the predecessor was back in 2013.
