If you’re a fan of Peggle and need your roguelike fix, Peglin might just have you covered.
Sometimes we just have a specific need, game-wise, that needs to be filled. Luckily, many new releases on Steam can fulfill such needs. If you’re a fan of the precise, peg-bopping gameplay of Pachinko-style games and are in the market for a new roguelike to take a swing at, maybe Peglin might be the game for you.
Peglin is described as a combination of Slay the Spire and Peggle. You play as a goblin, tired of losing your precious gold to malicious dragons. So you do what any good adventurer would do and set out to go get it back. Gameplay involves you tossing your orbs around, Pachinko style, to bust as many pegs as possible to max out the damage you do to the many monsters standing in between you and your gold.
And, of course, in classic roguelike style, you’ll traverse an ever-changing locale, bounce your way through a variety of dangerous creatures, and obtain a variety of relics and items to assist you in worming out of tight spots.
