PlayStation 5 Feature “Activities” Leaked Online

A significant new PS5 feature called “Activities” appears to have been released online. There have for some time been bits of gossip that Sony is arranging a significant update for the PS5’s user’s interface however hasn’t uncovered any considerably more than the console’s startup screen.

Distributed today, a Gamereactor.eu see for Nacon racing sim WRC 9, or WRC 9: World Rally Championship, talked about a PS5 feature called “Activities”. The article, which has since been takedown by the site, portrayed Activities as an “instant deep link” including that WRC 9 would permit players to hop into “explicit races legitimately from the console’s menu”.

This isn’t the first occasion when fans have caught wind of such a PS5 highlight, however, it is the first time that gamers have heard it called “Activities.” In a meeting with Wired in October 2019, Mark Cerny confirmed that the PS5 would offer quicker game loading. Cerny depicted a feature in which players could rapidly observe a rundown of “joinable Activities” in a game’s multiplayer mode while games with single-player content could show players which missions are accessible and the loot they could get for finishing them. The feature would let players bounce directly into these features.

Nearly seven days back, another leak guaranteed that the following PS5 event will happen on August 6, 2020. This data has not been officially affirmed by Sony. When Sony holds the following PS5 occasion, however, fans might be in for new game announcements and uncovers of features, for example, Activities.
