Project Cars 3 Will Warm The Engine This August

The most convenient project car yet is heating the engine.

The Project Cars 3 release date has been finalized. It will launch on August 28 on Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4, in time for a late summer drive. On the game’s official Twitter page, Developer Slightly Mad Studios revealed the release date.

Earlier this month, Project Cars was announced with a Summer 2020 release window. Technically, the new season hasn’t started yet. The third entry in Slightly Mad Studios adds a streamlined career and several new track modes, which will let you upgrade a car and bring it from road racing onto the race track.

It first came out in 2015. Since then, its lack of depth and breadth has overwhelmed hardcore fans. Production director Pete Morrish mentioned how Slightly Mad Studios is trying to bridge that gap. Project Cars 3 is one of the most convenient games in racing history. This time, Project Cars 3 seems a little different.

Now it has a more arcade-y look and a determination to present itself as a smoother racing game. At a time when most people have been watching esports racing more and more, the game’s realism will be the most crucial selling point. There are some materials about Project Cars 3 suggest that its physics mode may take a turn for something realistic and less punishing.

It tilts the needle closer to games like Need For Speed or, as some fans suggested, Forza. About 40 seconds in, an Acura NFX taps a Mercedes from behind. The cars appear without any visible damage, though they were spinning a lot. It may be editing, or just that the game isn’t complete yet. Authentic car contact and intense crash effects are listed as features. But that kind of go-action and smash isn’t exactly what fans of the series want to see.

Project Cars 3 also reworks community events in favor of a new Rivals system, which will divide players into smaller divisions with daily, weekly, and monthly challenges. The race for the top of the leaderboard will be very competitive, and Rivals is looking forward to giving each player some heavy competition.
