Sony’s September PS Plus lineup brings several notable games to Extra and Premium subscribers across multiple release dates this month.
Sony has revealed the next wave of games coming to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium catalogs, with some heavy games coming to the service in September. The new additions will be available starting September 15; however, some games may drop on different dates.
Mega Man X Command Mission, one of the previously rumored additions, has been formally announced as being part of this month’s roster. The game has been referenced in earlier PlayStation Plus information, but the exact release date has remained unclear until now. The full program will be available September 15, unless otherwise specified.
PlayStation tends to spread its Extra and Premium releases throughout the month, so consumers may not receive all games on the same day. One of the highlights is RuneScape: Dragonwilds, which is entering full release after a stint in Early Access on September 15. The survival crafting game will be available on PlayStation Plus at launch so customers can enjoy it without having to buy it separately.

WWE 2K26 joins the September lineup, adding another big sports entertainment game to the subscription service. Its addition should give users another meaty game to test out alongside the other new items coming over the month. Another important addition is Ball Pit, but it won’t be ready for users quite yet.

It’s one of the latter additions to this month’s rollout, with the game debuting on September 22 instead of September 15. Ball Pit is one of the most interesting additions for PlayStation Plus users looking for something new and has already been a big hit with those who’ve played it. Ball Pit will come later, so people may see another September game.
Date Everything is one of the most recent upgrades, accessible as of now. Subscribers can start playing right away, rather than waiting for the rest of the September lineup to arrive. PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members have a lot of new games to play this September, with titles dropping on different dates.
The month’s offerings include a varied mix of Mega Man X Command Mission, RuneScape: Dragonwilds, WWE 2K26, Ball Pit, and Date Everything. The staggered release plan indicates that buyers should be on the lookout for PlayStation announcements throughout the month, as more games could be released on different dates instead of all at once.
