From Silent Hill 2 to Tekken 3, PS Plus delivers a mix of horror, adventure, and nostalgic games for members this October 2025.

As the fall weather gets cooler, PS Plus Extra and Premium members will get a scary treat this October. Starting October 21, 2025, Sony will release a carefully chosen group of games that mix horror, nostalgia, and adventure in a way that feels like one big Halloween journey.

The most-anticipated version of Silent Hill 2 for PS5 is at the top of this month’s list. This new version of an old favorite keeps the scary vibe of the original while adding more current graphics and gameplay improvements. Players take on the role of James Sunderland and search the foggy town of Silent Hill for his missing wife. Along the way, they will meet strange creatures and figure out a scary story. Fans of the first game and people who have never played it before will both enjoy Silent Hill 2’s atmospheric design and psychological horror features.

Until Dawn, which is also available on PS5, goes well with the scary theme. In this interactive drama, players are sucked into a killer horror story where every choice they make could mean the difference between life and death. In this story, eight friends get together a year after something bad happened in a remote mountain camp, but they are being followed by an unknown force. The game’s cinematic design and branching plots make it stand out and keep you interested.

V Rising is a vampire survival action-RPG adventure for people who want a different kind of thrill. After hundreds of years of sleep, players wake up as weak vampires and try to get stronger while staying out of the sun’s harmful rays. The game lets players build their own vampire kingdom by combining elements of exploration, combat, and base-building.

Changing gears, Yakuza: Like a Dragon is a new take on the Yakuza series. It has turn-based fighting and a new main character. A low-ranking member of the Tojo Clan named Ichiban Kasuga sets out on a trip to find redemption and himself. Along the way, he meets a lot of interesting people. The mix of humor, drama, and action in the game keeps both newbies and longtime fans of the series interested.

It gets even more interesting with Poppy Playtime: Chapter 1 and As Dusk Falls. Poppy Playtime is a scary puzzle-adventure game that takes place in an old toy factory. To find out what dark secrets are hidden inside, players must solve tasks. As Dusk Falls is an interactive play that follows the lives of two families over 30 years. It is story-driven, but there are different paths you can take.

PS Plus Premium members can play Tekken 3, a re-release of the famous fighting game with added features for fans of older games. The game has updated features while keeping the original characters and gaming mechanics. This lets players enjoy the excitement of the arcade classic again.

This October, PS Plus has a lot of games for a lot of different types of gamers, from scary games to games with interesting stories and standard gameplay. This month’s lineup has something for everyone, whether you want to get lost in a psychological story, go on an adventure with vampires, or play an old-school fighting game again. People who are subscribers are encouraged to use these new features to have a variety of games to choose from this Halloween.
