A New War Rages in the year 1989. Will your Regiments be able to handle the enemies you face?
From the minds of Bird’s Eye Games and MicroProse Software comes the war-themed title Regiments. Experience the conflict of Cold War-era conflict. Call in special artillery against unsuspecting enemies, radio in for an airstrike, or deceive your enemies with a false retreat. Watch out, however, because your opponent isn’t just any garden variety artificial intelligence. It will be aggressive in its attempts to defeat you. And when it sees an opportunity to take advantage of a weakness, it won’t hesitate to exploit it.
You’ll have to face off against an adaptive AI across three skirmish modes. Choose from four factions: Soviet Union, USA, West Germany, and East Germany. Use iconic vehicles like the German Leopard 2 or Russian T-72M. There are more than 60 vehicles to choose from, so how you wage battles is up to you.
An RTS game at its heart, Regiments has a decent learning curve, allowing players easy command of hundreds of units. Be sure to take note of any objectives you may have, as they may yield valuable rewards.
