16-bit style RPG Rise of the Third Power release date has been announced by DANGEN Entertainment. The two-person indie developer Stegosoft Games is working on Rise of the Third Power, which has previously delivered both Ara Fell and the Enhanced Edition for all platforms.

Rise of the Third Power was initially launched in 2017 with the feel of a return to the SNES era of RPGs with current-gen amenities, combining bits of a Japanese and Western mix. Throughout the game, players assemble a party of up to eight characters, each with different abilities, as they go on a suicide mission to avoid a war and overthrow the Arkadian emperor. Players will encounter a mix of humor, drama, and sorrow for 35-40 hours of the campaign, as they navigate Rin’s deadly universe in the Rise of the Third Power.

Rise of the Third Power‘s fighting system, like Ara Fell’s, places a premium on ability use, negating the necessity for a basic attack. Every skill is designed to be used tactically and regularly. Players may switch around party members, view the action order at the top of the screen, and activate team skills, pushing players to use cunning character combinations to expose opponents’ flaws and discover efficient methods to rip through combat. Each item discovered, bought, or stolen provides a permanent, one-of-a-kind improvement for each character. Rather than just paying replacements, the player purchases or builds upgrades, reducing the tedium of inventory management.

Although Rise of the Third Power has a thrilling narrative tale, it also has a large planet for players to explore and uncover a lot of optional story content and objectives. Players can save at any time during the game, much like in Ara Fell, but there are autosave spots and alerts before crucial events. Various difficulty settings are also returning, including the “Story” setting, which lets players employ an auto-kill mechanism on all foes to proceed through combat more rapidly if desired.

Rise of the Third Power will be released on February 10, 2022, in digital shops for PC and consoles. For more information, visit the Rise of the Third Power official website.
