Help fight the undead in feudal Japan. You are a Samurai Maiden, and your will must be as sharp as your sword.

What would you do if you woke up thousands of years in the past? The story of Samurai Maiden, from SHADE Inc., throws you into the Sengoku period of feudal Japan. After waking up next to historical figure Nobunaga Oda, there isn’t much time to decide whether or not your presence is necessary. The aging daimyo tasks you with aiding a trio of ninjas in beating back the undead. If they do not receive the help they so desperately need, it’s likely the undead will unleash destruction on Japan during an already tumultuous time.

Take on the role of Tsumugi Tamaori, a young 21st-century woman who’s taken up swordsmanship as a hobby. It’s likely one of the reasons she’s been slacking in her studies. But her affinity for blades is likely why the universe sent her back into the past. And with Oda gifting Tamaori the evil warding blade, the student has no choice but to take on this role thrust upon her.

Unleash destruction on the undead with the Gokage System. Combine Tamaori’s devastating sword attacks with the ninjas’ powerful magical abilities. Build trust with each of the ninjas and unlock new techniques that can be used during battle.

There is no official release day. But interested gamers can expect Samurai Maiden to be released this winter. It will be available on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
