SAND LAND, the new action RPG project of Bandai Namco was revealed a few weeks ago, and now we have a date.

Action RPG games are hard to make them feel dead right, however, some developers like Bandai Namco can present players with games that give the best experiences. Knowing that Bandai Namco’s next project, SAND LAND, gained quite a massive follower base once it was revealed. The game will include a vast desert, hence the name, and allow players to use vehicles to their benefit while they are on their quest to find water sources and go through the protagonists’ story.

One thing to note in SAND LAND is the art style Bandai Namco chose. The game fairly resembles the same art style found in Dragon Ball Z manga and anime, and as you can guess, the reason behind that is the inclusion of the series’ creator Akira Toriyama. With its distinct, sharp style and cel-shaded graphics, SAND LAND will feel like an authentic anime, but of course, you will be playing through the stories of the main character, Belzeebub.

Along with its staple action RPG genre, SAND LAND will offer vehicle customization. Since the majority of the game is in a great desert, transportation is going to be the key and players have to craft, customize, and upgrade their vehicles if they want to traverse through the desert quickly and efficiently.

We do not know the ins and outs of the story yet, at least in-depth. But as we said earlier, it will include the story of Beelzebub and his friends, looking through spring sources, greeting friends and foes, and using vehicles to go on a quest and ultimately reach their goal. It is going to be an open world, full of combat and immersive stories, so we believe Bandai Namco will totally deliver a title that you will sink your hours in.

SAND LAND will be released on the 26th of April 2024 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Until then, you can follow Bandai Namco on social media and visit their websites in order to see their progress on SAND LAND.
