The update for Call of Duty Warzone and Black Ops Cold War players will arrive six days late.

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War was dispatched a month ago and carried the shooter arrangement to another age of consoles, and now its first significant substance update is going to show up. While the “season one” clump of increases was planned to show up on December tenth, its designers have declared they’re pushing things back to December sixteenth.

That gives them a couple of more days to work out any issues on a game encounter that extends over numerous modes, stages, titles, and console generations, and — on the off chance that you think it is important — implies it won’t come out around the same time as Cyberpunk 2077. To the extent that players can hope to see, things continue as before as what was itemized a month prior, with XP and level-up movement that matches up across Black Ops Cold War, 2019’s Modern Warfare, and the devoted Warzone fight royale mode.

Season One is coming.

An unprecedented drop of free content arrives in #BlackOpsColdWar and #Warzone on 12/16.

New things like weapons will be accessible over the various modes, while Warzone is adding a pristine guide, another mode, and a refreshed gulag experience where players can battle to re-visitation of the combat zone after they’ve been slaughtered. There’s no word yet on the size of the downloads for these updates, but the season one patch is coming in several chunks, with an initial update to Black Ops Cold War on December 8th, followed by another one on the 15th, and finally a Warzone update on December 16th that will mark the start of season one.

That implies that players’ positions in Modern Warfare and Warzone will be reset, however, any prizes they’ve opened will in any case be accessible.
