The first phase of the Sengoku Dynasty’s new farming updates includes a new village, crop cultivation, and new quests.
Sengoku Dynasty is reminiscent of traditional Japanese culture, and the game’s post-war setting in Sengoku, Japan, narrates much about their traditions. It combines elements of role-playing, city-building, life simulation, and survival, and has finally seen the release of its first major content on PC.
In response to player feedback since the game’s release, Superkami is adding the long-awaited ‘ regrowth’ feature. This feature allows for the regrowth of forests and other resources that have been deforested or over-harvested, including depleted mining deposits.
With today’s initial significant new release, Sengoku Dynasty’s Farming Update now adds millet, garlic, leeks, parsley, wasabi, turnips, and more to the game’s farming repertoire, in addition to rice. Aratani, a tranquil farming village south of the Sengoku Dynasty’s huge territory, has been added as part of the update. Here, players can meet with farming traders to replenish their supplies and engage in new tasks. In addition to the new farming equipment, the update includes a compost station as a new farming structure.
With the addition of 12 emotes, the game allows for even greater player expression, fostering a stronger sense of community and connection among players who plan to work the land together in co-op mode.
