Skater XL has released the Tampa Pro 2022 DLC, and the company will donate all of the proceeds to the charity “Boards for Bros”.
The ‘SXL Tampa Pro 2022 DLC Pack’ is Easy Day Studios’ first-ever downloadable content pack for Skater XL, and it is currently available for purchase on Xbox One and PC via Steam. To mark the occasion of the very first Skater XL Tampa Pro Esports Contest, which took place on May 7, the DLC pack is now available for purchase, and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Boards For Bros, the official charity partner of Skatepark of Tampa. Boards For Bros refurbishes and donates used skateboards that have been previously skated on to disadvantaged children all over the United States.
The SXL Tampa Pro 2022 DLC Pack includes a bucket hat, tank shirt, coaches jacket, skateboard deck, and baggy trousers. Each of these things comes in a variety of colors. The DLC includes artwork and branding from the official Tampa Pro 2022 tournament.
It was the first time that an esports event had recreated the experience of a traditional skateboarding competition entirely, and it was called the Skater XL Tampa Pro Esports Contest. This event took place one week after the 28th Annual Tampa Pro skateboarding competition in the real world.
In the one-day competition, 24 top Skater XL players raced against one another on three different platforms (PS4, Xbox One, and PC through Steam) in a virtual re-creation of the legendary Tampa Pro event. Garrett Ginner, a well-known skating content producer on YouTube, served as the tournament presenter for the Skater XL Tampa Pro Esports Contest, broadcasting live on the official Twitch Channel.
Skater XL is now available for USD 39.99 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. PS4 and Xbox One physical editions can also be purchased through retail stores.
