Ubisoft announced Skull and Bones over 5 years ago at E3 2017 (Yes, you read that right.) The pirate game that seemed to provide players the opportunity to explore the best features of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, which was released back in 2013 (Yes… You also read that right.) The game has supposedly undergone numerous changes in terms of scope and more.
However, since that E3 cinematic trailer, the game has been silent, with only rumours and concepts serving to placate the barrage of fans eager for more details. That day has finally arrived… Well, not exactly, but… It’s very close.
Skull and Bones announced this today in a little teaser:
The teaser doesn’t contain much, but it does serve as the first thing we have seen from this title in half a decade. This teaser is for a gameplay reveal, which will happen this week! On Thursday, 7th July 2022 at 8:00 pm CEST / 4:00 pm BST / 8:00 am PT / 11 am ET.
The gameplay livestream will be on YouTube and show off various aspects of the game that players have been salivating about since the game was announced all that time ago. A release date will most likely be confirmed at the event. It’s an exciting time for players who have been patiently awaiting the arrival of this title.
