SpiderHeck, a 2D Fighting Platformer, Gives Arachnids Dangerous Weapons

Arachnids are scary enough. But what happens when they get weapons? SpiderHeck answers that question.

Not many people have even the most basic understanding. But even if they did, that wouldn’t help here in SpiderHeck. These arachnids make circus veteran circus performers look like nothing but amateurs. In addition to their high-flying acrobatics, they wield light sabers better than anyone claiming the title of “Master.”

Fight solo as a laser-sword-wielding arachnid and test your endurance against hordes of enemy creatures. How long can you handle flying, dodging, and striking, all in succession? If you manage to last, the battle may go on for hours, and might only stop when one of two things happens: you quit or you die.

If going at it solo isn’t your style, invite three friends for a local 4-player co-op. Watch the chaos ensue as you attempt to fight off two others while focusing on the object of your ire. Don’t be surprised if either you or your friend slingshots straight into the lava after taking out a target. Things can look fantastic one second and end up crashing and burning before anyone can react. And remember, laser swords won’t be the only thing to wield against your friends or enemy hordes.
