The game is heading to Switch, of course.

Splatoon 3 will hit Nintendo Switch in 2022, complete with new conditions, weapons, capacities, and customization choices. Nintendo revealed the game during the present Direct Livestream, with a declaration trailer flaunting some of the new highlights.

Anyways, Splatoon 3 promises to introduce new weapons, such as the bow weapon, even more customization options, and additional movement abilities. We got a glimpse of some of this in the trailer, but more information about Splatoon 3 will be shared in the future. Splatoon 3 removes the tone-heaving shooter from Inkopolis and into the Splatlands, explicitly the city of Splitsville.

Splatoon 3 denotes the arrival of 4-on-4 Turf War matches and presents new gadgets like the Bow Weapon, which lets out three floods of paint without a moment’s delay. We suspect Nintendo will host another Nintendo Direct to provide an update on the remainder of 2021 and a look at some of the early 2022 games.

Nintendo vows to uncover more insights regarding the game in the coming year.
