A representative from GSC Game World Zakhar Bocharov has answered the questions worrying fans about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2
PR-manager of GSC Game World, developers of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl, Zakhar Bocharov, gave a big interview on the YouTube channel “No matter who”. In this video, Zakhar shared the details about the internal development processes.
- According to him, roughly 300 developers are working on the game, including freelance staff.
2. Zakhar also noted that STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl has nothing in common with another Stalker 2, which was announced in 2010. The new project is being created completely from scratch.
3. The staff turnover was indeed, but recently, this problem has been rectified.
4. GSC Game World is still considering the creation of a remaster or remake of Stalker. The company’s also interested in the expansion of the franchise through the board game market.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl is coming out on 8th December 2022 on PC and Xbox Series X as a Microsoft temporary exclusive. In 3 months, the game will also be released on PlayStation 5.
