Starfield is Bethesda Game Studios next release and they are slowly feeding us more and more information allowing all fans to slowly become more excitable.
Starfield has the potential to be truly incredible. With every piece of information released the game is seeming more and more appealing as the veteran team at Bethesda Games Studios continue to reveal portions of the game to the fans.
Well recently, the developers were once again gathered around that table as they described more information regarding this next seemingly ambitious title. The Starfield official twitter stated this:
This video contained many incredible details regarding the title including various aspects in terms of the gameplay.
The developers referred to a new speech system which apparently evokes as an improvement to the rather clunky system found in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Todd Howard also mentioned that they would be ‘going backwards’ in a sense returning to the roots of hardcore RPG’s including backgrounds and things like that, that will innately improve the games immersion.
Now how interweaved into Starfield these backgrounds are, only time will tell.
We also got our first glimpse at one of the companions that will be present in Starfield a tall robot was stood in a shaded corner and said “Hello Captain.” To which many fans have already quickly became attached to this character.
The final thing mentioned was the factions contained within the game and the players freedom in their faction choice. They seemed to particularly refer to the pirate faction stating that they are not just ‘bad guys’ and are a faction that can be joined. Think of it as if you could join the Silver Hand in Skyrim.
Overall, every one of these short videos slowly build upon the already high hype train and while fans should still be patient, keeping their excitement under wraps, there is that secret hope that Starfield is in fact everything it promises to be and more.
