State of Decay 3 Alpha Play Test Announced

Sources say that the future play test will include cooperative gameplay for four players, new mechanics, and more ways to interact with each other that make the series even more set in a dynamic post-apocalyptic world. When State of Decay 3 starts, it's a few years after the events of the second game. The world is darker and more dangerous. Survivors have become tougher as they've adjusted to a world that is becoming more violent as the plague changes. 

Early footage shows destructible parts in the in-engine gameplay, such as shooting through glass to avoid zombies. This suggests a more interactive combat system than before.
