Fans were shocked when 1047 Games released Splitgate 2, the sequel to their popular sci-fi shooter that mixed portals and gunplay. Along with the old maps and modes, this time, the game has a brand-new battle royale mode.
Fans on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC can look forward to more weapons, faster gameplay, and intense battles that take place in portals and require both accurate aim and smart teleportation.
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach – A Cinematic Return with New Faces and Tools
Kojima Productions teased an exciting new cutscene from Death Stranding 2: On the Beach that includes returning characters like Lucy and Neil (played by Luca Marinelli).
Along with the usual sneaking through dangerous areas, the sequel adds new gadgets to the stealth and combat systems, including decoy grenades and electrified pole weapons.
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will be available exclusively on PlayStation 5 when it releases on June 26, promising a deeper story and intense action.

Atomic Heart 2 – RPG Evolution in a Surreal Soviet Sci-Fi World
As Mundfish revealed, Atomic Heart 2 builds on the cult hit’s strange alternate-history setting by adding RPG elements, vehicles that can be driven, and huge new areas. Players will once again take on the role of a mysterious main character and use advanced combat and exploration to figure out what’s going on.
Atomic Heart 2 will have a rich, atmospheric experience on PC and consoles (release date TBD) thanks to Unreal Engine 5.
Anamusha: Way of the Sword – Mythical Melee Action Starring Miyamoto Musashi
This third-person action game takes place in Japan, overrun by demons, and features the famous swordsman Miyamoto Musashi battling monsters in fast-paced melee combat.
Anamusha: Way of the Sword is set to release in 2026 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, combining brutal, skill-based gameplay with stories rooted in mythology.
Ark Raiders
Ark Raiders is a multiplayer game that comes out on October 30 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. It combines co-op exploration with tense betrayal. Find items, fight enemies, and try to get away in a world that has been wiped out by disaster. Ark Raiders’ mix of PvP and PvE makes for an exciting, high-stakes loop.
Lies of P: Overture – Prequel to the Dark Fairy Tale RPG
Lies of P: Overture adds a new 15-20 hours story, weapons, and tough bosses to the world of Lies of P, which is like Souls. Fans of that game can jump right in. This prequel, available on all major platforms, features the dark, twisted atmosphere and precise combat that fans expect.

Infantessimals from Cubit Studios is a third-person action-adventure game where you search for lost crew members in a hostile alien world. It promises a new, independent experience for players who like to explore and stay alive. It has bright sci-fi environments and creative combat.
Mafia: The Old Country – A Dark Tale of Revenge
The next Mafia game from Hangar 13 comes out on August 8 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Dying Light: The Beast – Kyle Crane Returns with Zombie Powers
The Beast is an add-on for Dying Light 2: Stay Human Ultimate Edition that will be available for free on August 22. It puts you back in the shoes of Kyle Crane. You can use parkour skills, go to new places, and fight infected enemies with guns and melee weapons. Vehicle combat and zombie DNA abilities that aren’t found anywhere else add new layers to the survival experience.
Mouse PI for Hire – 1930s Noir Shooter Featuring Troy Baker
In this first-person shooter with noir themes, Troy Baker plays Jack Pepper, a private eye who has to deal with Mouseberg’s dangerous streets. With stylish art from the 1930s and a film noir style, it looks like a story-filled adventure full of mystery and action.
Stranger Than Heaven – RGG Studio’s Jazz-Era Action
Based on Yakuza 2, Stranger Than Heaven takes players to the city of Sotenbori in the 1940s during the jazz era. It was formerly known as Project Century. The studio’s signature storytelling style is brought to a new setting through real-time action combat and an atmospheric setting (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S; release date TBD).

Mecha Break is a fast-paced post-apocalyptic mech battle game that comes out on Xbox Series X|S and PC. You can pick from different types of mechs, such as the Falcon, which can fly, or the Tricera, which has a lot of weapons. Mecha Break lets you play competitive PvP or extraction mode, where you fight AI enemies and improve your mech to become the best.
Mind’s Eye – Action Game with Hitman Collaboration
Mind’s Eye is about a soldier named Jacob Diaz, who has a neural implant and is investigating plots involving bad AI and corporate corruption. Mind’s Eye is set to release on June 10 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, featuring a special collaboration with Hitman. The famous Agent 47 makes a mysterious appearance.
End of Abyss – Dark Sci-Fi Action-Adventure
In Section 9 Interactive’s first game, players take on the role of Cell, a combat technician who is looking into a scary mystery in a grim underground facility. End of Abyss is set to release in 2026 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S and is about exploring and staying alive in a dangerous world full of scary creatures.

Acts of Blood was made by one person and features intense hand-to-hand combat with a rough edge. It promises a high level of brutality. It will come out next year with improved controls for a more intense action experience.

ILL wants to keep players inside its scary research facility by using realistic physics and binaural sound to make things more tense. This horror game doesn’t have a set release date yet, but it already sounds like it will be a truly terrifying experience.
Resident Evil 9: Requiem – A Bold New Chapter in Survival Horror
Coming out on February 27, 2026, Resident Evil: Requiem follows Grace Ashcroft as she investigates a murder in Raccoon City that is linked to the death of her mother. It’s a big change in tone for the franchise, with scary new monsters and high-stakes action movies. Leon S. Kennedy’s possible return makes things even more exciting.
