More Xbox games, easier multiplayer, and seamless streaming experience coming your way!

Microsoft has expanded Xbox Cloud Gaming reach by allowing Game Pass Ultimate members to stream select games from their personal game collections. The feature, previously accessible on web browsers and TVs, enables users to play their games without having to download or install them. Popular additions to the library of streams include Baldur’s Gate 3, Cyberpunk 2077, and Hogwarts Legacy.

To increase accessibility in multiplayer gaming, Microsoft added shared invite links for Xbox Cloud Gaming sessions. By simply sending the link via messaging apps or Xbox messages, players can generate a link inviting friends from other platforms—specifically, PCs, mobile browsers, TVs, and streaming devices.

Joining a game is easy, all one has to do is click a link and log in with their Xbox account. These features allow multiple players to be added and removed at any time, thus providing further control for the players. Xbox Cloud Gaming is going to become more accessible to consumers through a collaboration with LG Smart TVs.

Through this joint venture, Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can access Xbox Cloud Gaming with the Xbox app on supported LG Smart TVs. They are developing a Gaming Portal that will make it easy for users to navigate and access various games. The feature provides users with access to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, NBA 2K25, and Hogwarts Legacy.

Microsoft has been pushing out support for streaming Xbox games directly onto Xbox consoles to bypass long downloads and potential data cap headaches. The feature has already been rolled out to Xbox Insiders with Game Pass Ultimate, and it will be available to all in the future.

Also, there is a beta that allows Xbox Series X and S users to use external hard drives over 16TB by splitting them into many pieces, expanding storage capacity for a huge game library. Cloud Gaming is experiencing tremendous growth. Companies like Netflix are including co-op and party games on their platforms, which suggests an industry-wide movement toward a more expansive set of gaming experiences on cloud platforms.

Microsoft is focused on building its cloud gaming capacity with a better user experience through various strategic partnerships and technological advancements that favor accessibility. These innovations prove Microsoft’s commitment to an immersive cloud gaming experience that focuses on users; thus, positioning Xbox Cloud Gaming as a serious competitor in this fast-growing digital gaming landscape.
