Dead Space has been given a fresh pair of lungs. EA has released a teaser trailer for a remastered edition of Dead Space, which features a scary necromorph-infested setting and whatnot. According to EA, the new Dead Space will have a better plot, protagonists, and gaming dynamics.
The game was released in 2008 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, and it quickly became a cult favorite. With scary alien monsters lurking around every corner, inventive weapons, and the persistent fear of crushing solitude, the series draws on a space-based style of horror. On modern hardware, all of this should be much creepier. There’s no indication of when the remastered Dead Space will be released.
The game is being developed by Motive Studios and will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox One X and S, and PC.
