Master your craft in a world that would see it eliminated. As The Last Alchemist, you must preserve the art itself.

The Inquisition has taken a foothold in a fictionalized 17th-century Europe. As The Last Alchemist in your area, you must keep alive all the things the Master Alchemist has taught you. While your mentor no longer walks among the living, they’ve left in your possession the Old Imperial Star Observatory. From Vile Monarch comes a story of one’s quest to preserve a lost art.

Only through trial and error will one unlock the secrets of this forbidden art. Everything that can be collected has an essence that can be used in concocting transmutation plans. With over 200 properties of alchemy to discover, there’s no telling what The Last Alchemist will find. Some of your experiments will result in nifty, beneficial effects. But one should always expect catastrophe, especially if the wrong ingredients are chosen.

What can’t be found during an adventure out can surely be grown. But one must be cautious, for some of your resources come from carnivorous flora. Grow hungry plants and other resources, ensuring that The Last Alchemist rests when their energy is low.

The technology one utilizes in their alchemical experiments may often come from the Agari. A race of sentient mushroom people, there is certainly more to them than meets the eye. An adorable outward appearance may be nothing more than a facade.

The Last Alchemist will hit Early Access on Steam in 2023. Wishlist the title now to be one of the first to play the title when it’s released.
