‘The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD’ Fi Is Silenced

This time, the spirit’s guidance is optional.

Today, Nintendo shared a video about The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. We all saw that this upcoming remaster will feature many “quality of life improvements”. Not only that, but Dialogue, cutscenes, and tutorials can also be skipped. Moreover, Skyward Sword HD will also contain optional button controls and will render at a smoother 60fps. When The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD is released on July 16th, it will rectify several of the original game’s more vexing design mistakes.

Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD will finally tell Fi to shut the hell up. Nintendo will release a $25 Loftwing Amiibo on the same day as the remaster. Nintendo will do so so that players can get access to that specific feature. You need to pick up that amiibo on the release day to get access. A new quick travel system will also be included in Skyward Sword HD.

Nintendo has simplified how players will interact with items in a simpler way. The game will not explain every time you locate a repeated item. But it will give you an explanation when you pick up a new one. So that won’t be a reason for annoyance. But, the most significant difference is more of a minus than an addition. Instead of the spirit delivering endless guidance on its own, players can simply approach Fi for their needs. But according to Nintendo, Fi will show itself when necessary and can only be approached in cutscenes.

When Fi says something, Link’s sword will get brighter, and you will have the freedom whether or not to pay attention to them.
