Dead by Daylight recently set a new record for concurrent gamers with more than 100,000.

Since its launch, Behaviour Interactive has continued supporting this survival horror game, Dead by Daylight, with new maps, killers, and survivors. Many of them are crossovers with well-known horror franchises. Behaviour Interactive launched this asymmetric multiplayer title back in June 2016. It permits gamers to act like cold-blooded killers or desperate survivors. It recently gained 100,000 concurrent players on Steam despite being more than five years old.

In June 2019, Hawkins, Indiana, citizens initially entered the Dead by Daylight universe with the addition of young protagonists Steve Harrington and Nancy Wheeler as survivors. Jonathon Byers, a Stranger Things survivor, was also added to the game by a recent update.

The game has received crossover content from a variety of video game titles, horror films, and television. The most recent addition for Dead by Daylight was centered on a crossover with Resident Evil, a well-known horror video game series, where long-time series heroes Jill Valentine and Leon Kennedy appeared.

UsualInitial, a Reddit user, revealed that Dead by Daylight has surpassed 100,000 concurrent players on Steam. It suggests that the multiplayer survival title has kept a still-growing and powerful player base. That’s why they achieved the record-breaking 105,093 player count on their fifth anniversary. The player base of Dead by Daylight has also increased by approximately 65 percent in the last two months, according to UsualInitial.

Dead by Daylight hits 100k concurrent players on steam for the first time in the game’s history, nearly 5 years after the game’s release. from Games

The birthday celebration celebrated by Behaviour Interactive sees the return of cosmetic items, Anniversary Crowns that players must seek within a map and may only keep if they win the match, returning as part of the birthday celebration.

The fifth anniversary of Dead by Daylight will take place from June 30 to July 15. Christmas balloons and other decorations have also been embellished on the Entity’s Realm map to bring a touch of whimsy to the moody environment. Looks like Behaviour Interactive’s commitment is truly paying off, as this record-breaking player count is very impressive for any game.

The developer has guaranteed that Dead by Daylight enjoys a long time of undeath by continuously releasing new and fascinating content.
