The Texas Chainsaw Massacre game has been talked about a lot for for time. This is an opportunity for players to be able to relive one of the most iconic horror movies of all time, but in asymmetrical form. You may have even seen some gameplay of the game, and it’s expected to arrive this year, but there is the million dollar question – when exactly is the game coming out?
Well, it has finally been announced, and it’s not too long away. August 18, 2023 is from when you can experience the ultimate terror. Which is also the day and month of the first movie’s setting – August 18, 1973. Pretty cool, right? So basically, the release day will be the 50th anniversary of the terror.
This was confirmed on their official Twitter and publisher – Gun interactive’s Youtube channel, and was met with many positive responses. Seems like, just like us, they also cannot wait for the game to arrive. In the meantime, there should be more gameplay to show from now until then. But from what has been shown already, there are already reasons to be excited.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre game is based on the first ever movie in the franchise, that was released in 1974. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X and S. For the Xbox players, you’ll be happy to know, it’ll also be available on Xbox Game Pass.
