The Wheel of Time recently got a revival as a series on Amazon Prime. Despite the game being its main inspiration, the show itself takes place 150 years after the events of the game. That being said, fans will be delighted to know that their beloved game is coming back as a remaster, which can be purchased here on GOG.com. This remaster was made possible by Nightdive Studios, Red Eagle Games, iWot Productions, and GOG working together as a team.
In The Wheel of Time, players take on the role of Elayna Sedai, a Keeper who has tasked themselves with ensuring the Dark One does not escape its confines. The seals that once kept them locked away have scattered to the winds. The Aes Sedai sisterhood that Elayna belongs to has recently acquired three, but one was taken. And traitors within their ranks may be responsible for its disappearance.
In the game, players will wield items known as ter’angreal. There are more than 40, and each possesses a unique effect, such as fireball, teleportation, or defensive abilities. See what combinations of items can deliver devastating effects.
