There’s never been any good stories from them. Dive into the Trenches and see if you can leave with your sanity.

It was said to be one of the bloodiest conflicts in modern human history. Against such a tragic part of our history, one must explore the Trenches of the time. Stuck behind enemy lines, one must fight to maintain what little sanity they have. And it isn’t the enemy soldiers one must worry about. From Steelkrill Studio, comes a title that brings about a new ‘horror of war.’

At your disposal are nothing more than your senses, trench whistle, and your memory. Wooden floors pose a danger, so ensure that each step is taken lightly. The planks in these Trenches creak with nerve-wracking volume that enemies can hear. Bottles may also topple over and break, making enemies aware of exactly where you are.

Throughout the game, one will have the opportunity to find clues that aid in one’s escape. In order to find these, one must blow on the trench whistle and follow the crying sound that plays afterwards. While this may seem extremely useful, it also calls a dark creature to wherever the player is. While journey through the maze of Trenches, one may come across useful items like a gun and/or map. Hopefully one will happen across anything else useful.

Trenches will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Microsoft Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch.
