Just because it’s virtual, doesn’t mean the world isn’t worth saving. In Turbo Overkill, you’ll face off against a malevolent AI bent on destruction.

From Trigger Happy Interactive and Apogee Entertainment comes Turbo Overkill. As cyberpunk hero Johnny Turbo, you are tasked with defending the virtual world of Paradise from the malevolent AI known as Syn. Only by fighting against this entity and its minions do the people of the city have any hope. Will you succeed in your mission as an enhanced individual? Or is the city and its inhabitants doomed for destruction?

Here are some features of the upcoming title:

  • You Are Super – unleash skills inside the virtual world. Wall-run to avoid enemies restricted to the ground. And grapple towards another target, as you prepare the Chainsaw leg for some bloody fun. Just remember, the higher Johnny’s momentum, the more destruction he can unleash on the enemy.
  • An Arsenal At Your Disposal – not only do you get a Chainsaw leg, but you can also wield Twin Magnums and deliver devastating shots. Feel like getting crazier? Employ the Telefragger and tear enemies apart from the inside out.
  • Something’s Familiar – if Paradise feels a bit familiar, it’s not an accident. The title draws inspiration directly from titles like Doom.

While the game was recently announced, there is currently no definitive release date. We know for certain that the title will release to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. Wishlist Turbo Overkill on your respective platform to be informed as soon as it’s released.
