The Last of Us TV series is due to arrive sometime this year. With all the hype surrounding this highly anticipated show, fans have wondered a few things. One of them is, what is the cast for the upcoming series?
Well, according to Deadline, the two main characters, Joel and Ellie, have finally been cast. The Mandalorian’s Pedro Pascal has been confirmed as the actor to play Joel, and Game of Thrones’s Bella Ramsey has been selected to play Ellie.
This announcement met with some mixed critiques from fans, especially from the cast of Joel, as many of them wanted Hugh Jackman to play the role. This is mostly because Jackman and Joel’s physical features are very similar.
However, Pascal is a great actor nonetheless, so he should be able to perfect that role and will surely start to grow on the doubters. Thus far, these are the only confirmed cast members, and we are all indeed excited to find out more news on the other characters in the coming months.
