Players on both consoles and PC will find a free VALKYRIE ELYSIUM update that includes new game content.
SQUARE ENIX has announced that the PC version of VALKYRIE ELYSIUM can be downloaded through the STEAM store. Starting today, Steam users can get into the action as the heroic Valkyrie, thanks to a free content update that adds three new features to the game.
In addition to PC users, console gamers can now take advantage of the new and tough content by downloading the free update that was issued as a patch update for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 earlier this month. A new trailer has been published by SQUARE ENIX along with this update.
The free update brings three new features to console and PC users alike:
- Hilde’s Vengeance Mode: After completing the main story, you unlock Hilde’s Vengeance Mode, taking control of her and using her special abilities to take out tough foes.
- Seraphic Gate: After completing the main game, players can challenge themselves with the Seraphic Gate time attack combat. By completing the game in its entirety, players may get special bonuses.
- Additionally, the VERY HARD / VALKYRIE Difficulty Modes for those who want a more significant test of skill may now choose between two additional difficulty levels.
In VALKYRIE ELYSIUM, a young Valkyrie is tasked with preventing Ragnarok—the destruction of the world—after being entrusted with this responsibility by the All-Father, the highest of gods and ruler of all creation. She will encounter many enemies along the way and will need to use a wide range of weapons, magic, and the might of her companions. The classic battle features like finishing techniques and combo systems have been reworked in this latest entry of the VALKYRIE series.
