It is soon time for political and economic machinations in Victoria 3
It has been 12 years since the release of Victoria 2, with players begging Paradox Interactive to make a sequel to the famous series. Victoria 3 is almost here. The game will be coming today (October 25th) via Steam; however, considering the launch time, it will without a doubt be different depending on your area.
The official Victoria 3 Twitter account shared this:
For those in other areas, the release times for this title are:
- Europe: October 25th, 6 pm CEST/5 pm BST / 4 pm UTC
- North America: October 25th, 9 am PT / 12 pm ET
- Eastern Asia: October 26th, 1 am JST
- Oceania: October 26th, 2 am AEST / 4 am NZST
For those not in any of these areas, check your own local standard time and compare it with the CEST times. Victoria 3 is now so close. However, there is some unfortunate news. In terms of the title’s release, Victoria 3 will not be coming to any other service at launch (including Game Pass), and it will be a Steam exclusive.
We can speculate that, considering the fact that Stellaris, Crusader Kings 3, Hearts of Iron IV, and Europa Universalis IV are all on Game Pass and are each very successful Paradox titles, that Victoria 3 might accompany them some time in the future, but this is just speculation.
The game was marketed for some time with PC Game Pass; however, in the last update, that news changed, and Paradox revealed that the game wouldn’t be coming to the service. The reasons behind this are still unclear.
