The titular game studios announced that Victoria 3 will release on 25th October 2022 and that Pre-Orders are available now.
It seems that many have been waiting for this day to come. The last Victoria title was released back in 2009, and players have been clamouring for a sequel all this time. Paradox Interactive released a gameplay trailer for the title back in June of this year, but now we finally have a release date.
For those that may be unfamiliar, Victoria 3 is a grand strategy game set in the age of the Industrial Revolution. Unlike Paradox’s other most recent release, Crusader Kings 3, Victoria 3 tends to lean more on the management side instead of many of the RPG elements found in its contemporaries.
Building up your economy and warring against other countries is the name of the game, and dealing with the various societal and political issues that arise in this era of innovation.

This trailer highlights (And Dramatizes) much of the game, showing all of the differing mechanics and how they may interconnect. Whether showing off the brand new warfare system, trade, and more, Victoria 3 looks to be an improvement over its predecessor in every way.
