Xbox Game Pass Adds 3 New Games To The Popular Subscription Service

Xbox’s titular service, Xbox Game Pass, has gotten three new games.

Xbox Game Pass continues to impress. For years, it has more than proven itself to be one of the best ideas that Xbox has ever had, and no doubt, their ingenuity has paid off tenfold. Games are rather consistently added and removed from Game Pass, so fans are in a constant state of uncertainty regarding what games are added and removed, not including Microsoft’s owned companies: 343 Industries, Obsidian Entertainment, Bethesda Game Studios, etc.

The games available have all been very popular in the world of gaming. The standout, of course, is the game ‘Telling Lies, ‘ a ‘desktop thriller’ made in the vein of games like Her Story, in which players become involved in a drama that plays out via video clips and other information presented on a virtual computer desktop. It was released in April 2020 by developer Sam Barlow and Furious Bee.

Dreamscape was released on August 5th, 2021, and is said to be an ‘endlessly replayable’ roguelike where players dive deep into their subconscious. Master deep and rich combat systems as you battle bosses and utilize your Lucid Powers to prevent your permadeath. You live through the main character, Cassidy’s waking life, and uncover the mystery of her story.

Finally, Contrast was a game released in 2013. It is a noir art nouveau game in which players must navigate the shadows using lights to find collectibles and continue their journey. The game is most notable for its use of shadow and light. Even the player character, Dawn, is an imaginary friend of Didi, and Dawn can move between shadows. It is great fun.

The next standout game is most definitely Ark: The Ultimate Survivor Edition. Whilst Ark: Survival Evolved is already on Game Pass, the ultimate edition will include all DLC, which is perfect if you want to prep for the Ark sequel that will soon be on its way. The rest of these games will slowly be added to Game Pass throughout the month of February, which once again proves that Game Pass is continuing to grow and maintain its position as Xbox’s most utilized service.

Games have not only been added to Game Pass; in fact, PlayStation Now has added their new games for February. Plus, we also have a review for The Company Man on The Nintendo Switch—all of this and more on GamesCreed.
