Get ready for the biggest month of the year for Xbox Game Pass.

This month is going to be higher than huge as September is without a doubt the biggest month on Xbox Game Pass in 2023. The quality of games coming in September is of those you’ve been waiting for so long. Including one of the most anticipated games in years – Starfield. Xbox Game Pass members will be eating well this month. Here are the following games:

  • Gris: September 5 (Console, PC, Cloud)

Get involved in one of the greatest Spanish-made video games of all time, as a girl game Gris has woken up in a statue of a woman. In this platform-adventure, Gris is a hopeful young woman who deals with a traumatic experience in her life.

Players will enter a uniquely designed world where they stumble across intense puzzles and challenges along the way. And don’t worry, this game can be played by anyone of any spoken language.

  • Starfield: September 6 (Console, PC, Cloud)

There’s no doubt that this is the game you’re looking forward to not only for this month, but for years. Officially announced in 2018, but the concept was around since 2013, and development started in 2016. This is what you’re up against. This game is surely destined for greatness.

Presenting as an open world space exploration RPG. In the year 2310, two of the largest factions Freestar Collective and the United Colonies, have engaged in the Colony War. Starfield takes place two decades after the war, players are taking the role of a customisable character, who is a member of the Constellation. Which is the organisation of space explorers?

Many years in the making. Starfield will be with us very soon.

Players who’ve pre-ordered the premium edition (physical or digital) will be able to play now, as well as receive many digital extras. Sadly, those who had gotten the standard version, including the Xbox Game Pass members. Even if you’d pre-loaded from the service, you’ll simply have to wait until the official release date.

Here’s a soulslike game for you, Xbox Game Pass subscribers to enjoy. Also, a quite anticipated title. As you recall, a couple of months ago, with the release of the demo, which is still available for you to download if you haven’t already. So that you can get a little taste of what you’re getting. We’ve already given our impressions of the demo, now it’s time for you to have yours.

  • Lies of P: September 19 (Console, TBD)

Inspired by the late Italian author Carlo Collodi’s novel, The Adventures of Pinocchio. Lies of P is centred on a humanoid puppet named Pinocchio. Awakens in an abandoned train station in Krat. Pinocchio must fight his way through the destructive city of relentless monsters in order to reconnect with his creator, as well as unravel the dark secrets of the city.

  • Party Animals: September 20 (Console, TBD)

Or if you want a game where you just want to relax with your friends on a night out. You get to enjoy a multiplayer physics-based game where you play as various animals, and you get to mess with your friends in around 100 different ways in different game modes and be the last man, or in this case, animal standing.

  • Payday 3: September 21 (Console, PC, Cloud)

Here’s another hugely anticipated game you’re very likely looking forward to, as you get to enter more dangerous and higher-profile heists than ever. Only announced a few months ago, Payday makes a return to the gaming world after the last game that was released a decade ago. And PayDay 3 also makes it to Xbox Game Pass.

Payday 3 takes place after the ending events of Payday 2. The very experienced criminals went about their separate ways, but there’s something that awaits them that brings them back to the criminal underworld. But don’t do this alone – go and find a few of your friends and enjoy one of the largest co-op shooters of all time.

  • Cocoon: September 29 (Console, PC)

An adventure where there are worlds within worlds. Play an abundance of puzzles, interact with alien environments and biomechanical devices, and battle mighty guardians to uncover a cosmic mystery.

Now, before you head off, you must take a look at the following last chance to get before they are removed titles. Because Xbox Game Pass is not playing around, you have until today to install these games from the service. But if you want to keep them for longer, they’re all available for discounts of at least 20%.

  • Black Desert: August 31 (Console, Cloud)
  • Commandos 3 – HD Remaster: August 31 (Console, PC, Cloud)
  • Immortality: August 31 (Console, PC, Cloud)
  • Nuclear Throne: August 31 (Console, PC, Cloud)
  • Surgeon Simulator: August 31 (Console, PC, Cloud)
  • Tinykin: August 31 (Console, PC, Cloud)
