A larger-budget sequel appears to be in the works as well.

There’s much more Control coming your way. Fans of the mind-bending journey will be pleased to learn that the developer has some good news for them. A multiplayer spin-off has been agreed to be co-published and developed by the studio and 505 Games. Control, from Remedy Entertainment, is one of the most memorable games of recent years.

Now, they named the game Condor, which is a codename. Players will be controlled by a sheer force called the Hiss. The game is being developed for Xbox Series X/S, PC, and PlayStation 5. You will be able to tackle enemies by making a team with three of your friends. Condor was developed and co-published by the studio and 505 Games, which they both agreed on. Game director Mikael Kasurinen expressed, “It is going to be a long time before we show off these projects”.

So we can’t expect to learn all about the game. He also said, “Other Remedy experiences are coming from our studio that I know you will love.” The studio is currently working on CrossfireX’s single-player campaign, which is set to release later this year. On Epic Games Store and PlayStation Plus, you can get the game for free. But it has sold more than two million copies despite being a freebie. Though that’s not all. 505 and Remedy are willing to expand the Control franchise with an expensive Control game. So, this will be discussed in more detail in the future.

It is worth giving a try, as players can play through Xbox Game Pass, too.
