Blizzard will think of the future of the StarCraft universe.

A couple of months after StarCraft II’s tenth-year commemoration, Blizzard has reported that it’s moving endlessly from making new substance for the title and zeroing in on “what’s straightaway.” Blizzard VP Robert Bridenbecker said the designer won’t produce for-buy in-game substance and extensions for StarCraft II any longer.

That doesn’t mean it’s relinquishing the game totally, however: it’ll prepare rolls and equalization fixes to take into account its most devoted fans and serious players. Snowstorm has reported that improvement on new pieces and sways like reserves and commandants has stopped. It will be being upheld with balance fixes and season rolls, however, there won’t be anything new to purchase.

Blizzard delivered an equalization fix a couple of months prior, so it’s not intending to deliver another this year, however, it will “keep doing them varying later on.” Naturally, this isn’t generally the finish of one of Blizzard’s greatest arrangements. The switch will let the group consider what’s straightaway, both for StarCraft 2 and the StarCraft universe.

Bridenbecker calls StarCraft “center to Blizzard”. Also, simply look at how long it has been effectively evolving contrasted with, state, Heroes of the Storm, which Blizzard began downsizing in 2018, just a short time after launch. Blizzard additionally guarantees fans that StarCraft II esports is as yet “going solid” and won’t be disappearing at any point shortly. Back in January, it set up another serious circuit through a three-year association with ESL and DreamHack, so fans have those games to anticipate.

Bridenbecker clarified that by pulling back from creating a greater StarCraft II update, the organization will have the opportunity to consider the eventual fate of the StarCraft universe in general. Sadly, he didn’t state it we can anticipate another portion for the establishment.

The company released the game’s biggest update yet when it celebrated its 10th anniversary in July. Players got access to new achievements, as well as prestige talents and gameplay improvements thanks to that rollout.
